Anyway..back to the topic...
Audiences who came on both FRI and SAT shows...commented that SAT shows was better and more interesting....as you get to see many singers presenting their performing pieces..and of course...you get to see new, fresh faces!!! (OUR ARTISTES-IN-PROGRESS!)
As it's only the first shows, their very first performance, we did not get the audience to evaluate and vote for their favourites yet...it's just a warm-up for them too! They only delivered 1 song for their maiden performance...
This coming SAT, they will be delivering either 2 songs (half song)...or 1 full song....
They were given pretty much pressure to do well, and perform to their best.....hmm..we hope they can take it...Message from our Music Director is that some of these maybe eliminated if they still did not manage to meet his standards...hmmm...pressure..pressure....

First up.....YingZhi! Pretty girl...with an unique voice! She sang我要快乐(A*mei)...She can deliver English songs well too...We think she's got some potential to develop...Let's see how she progresses on in a few weeks' time!
Next up...Ryan Kwan! Some of you may find him familiar if you frequent the 'ex-'cafe...Yes, he's one of our Hark's hosts...Days you used to catch him are like Men's Night (WED), and Member's Night (SUN)... Anyway, he sang 翅膀-JJ that night...Hmm...impression wise was just fine...I think he's gonna work hard to find his own style and character..His singing sounded rather similiar to Jay Chou...so not much of an identity at the moment...Work hard, pal!
Next, FIONA singing 爱笑的眼睛. Yes, she's one of our champion from the Live 比一比! She's got a sweet vocal..with an good advantage of her height and personality! She makes guys wanna protect her! A rather perfect match to her vocal type. She gives a comfortable impression to most with her clear vocals....Now, we just gonna see how she can handle her performing stamina with various songs delivery.. At the moment, I feel that she can improve on her dressing and grooming to make her stand out more!
KENNETH singing 我可以. A young boy with a raspy r&b voice...Good potential! He definitely leave an impression to people with his distinctive singing style...but it will depends if he appeals to them in the right way....
Jeneen singing 安静. She gonna work on more to make a stronger impression on her vocal delivery. But many may not know, she's also a music composer with pretty good writing ideas! That's a plus point....but how much can it help? We will see....
Teng Yeow singing PIANO..Another young boy who still can't find his own personality. He needs to work on alot to add more personality to his performance to leave an impression! That's very crucial for an artiste development. Don't give up, boy...Learn more, hear more, see more and review your own performances!
Next up..Joanne 陈佐安 singing 人质...a girl-next-door personality who can communicate to the audience naturally...Easy for her to connect with the audience with her infectious smile! For her vocal-wise, it was just fine...not too impressive though...try to work more on your vocal training, gal...
Leonard 董诚亮 singing 专属天使 A petite guy with rather good music sense. He's got a unique diction which makes it his style...He's got some vocal power and tone but gonna do more polishing to his delivery to avoid sounding too 'raw'.....and please work on your dressing, dude..you know, you gonna leave an impression but not the wrong way!
Sarah..a self-admit blur girl singing 再一次拥有...she's got a clear, sweet voice and sweet high notes. However, she gonna work more on her fundamental techniques so that she can gain more control to her voice..
Last performer of the night: Jun Ming..singing 没有你. A performer that couldn't leave a strong impression in the audience. He gonna work more on his vocal delivery for a WOW impact...His visual impact needs to be strengthened too. Junming..I am suggesting that you can wear a pair of glasses (fashionable ones lah..) to make yourself stand out...What you think??
If you guys feel like coming to watch their performances..and like to give some comments to help to progress more...c'mon down every SAT..and see who becomes our next Hark ARTISTE!
p/s: you know...I'm feeling rather frustrated not being able to do more fanciful editing to my writings to make them stand out better.....sigh.....so...pardon me for making this post looks soooo dulll......I will try to see what's wrong...For the past 2 posts..I couldn't change my font size and colour......and the writing window is soooooo darn small..........it's only with 8 lines visibility....isn't that sad....... :((((
