Renovation First Day: Demolition Works!
Ok, the first day....We have to wake up real early, after the late private party..It was a rather concussed
impression but anyway, we just have to get our butts going!
We have to pack, pack, pack, pack and PACK! So many things, so many leftovers too...Well, we donated some of those cutleries, glasses to the needy..
Around noon, the demolition guys came and going to hack and dismantle the bar.
If you guys noticed, our bar counter is really exceptional long (more than 8metres!). When
we are constructing this bar counter in 2005, we have to use a crane to transport the bar
counter to Prinsep and more than 6 mens to carry in.
Now, when demolishing it, it only takes 3 hours and 2 men to destroy it! Whao!
All the tables, cabinets....GONE!
Yeah, these are the 2 'SUPERMEN'!
Didn't manage to catch their faces...They are playing 'hide-and-seek' with my photo taking....but I can tell you honestly, that the man in black, though in his middle age, but he is really 'shuai'! Can tell he looks very good in his young days..(well, even now I think he looks great! Hahaa..)
They are the guys doing the painting job too...And who says there are no such thing in the world where you can find 'U-P-U-Qi'(think hokkien) lobang....
Let me tell you, their prices is very, very low, 20% of the price that my contractor quoted me! And believe me, their work is fine! We used them during the cafe renovation in 2005 too!
